BigLove Indian Hair® – Refund & Return Policy

At BigLove Indian Hair®, we take pride in delivering premium-quality raw human hair and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The following policy outlines the conditions for returns, exchanges, refunds, shipping charges, and related deductions. By making a purchase, you agree to comply with the terms below.

As a global market leader in hair extensions since 1983, BigLove Indian Hair® strives for customer satisfaction. We are proud to offer no-hassle 30-day returns and 30-day exchanges on all eligible hair extensions from the date of delivery. We wash and condition all hair before it is shipped to you as part of our multi-point inspection process. Unlike many other companies, you may wash, condition, and heat-style the hair while the security ties remain intact to ensure full satisfaction before using the product. Once the security ties are removed, the product is no longer eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the product is found to be defective. Return shipping charges will be credited only if the product is found to be defective. Return shipping labels are not provided.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return, exchange, or store credit, items must meet all of the following:

  • Security ties are still intact (not removed or cut)
  • Hair has not been worn or installed
  • Hair is completely dry (not wet or damp)
  • Hair has not been chemically treated
  • Original packaging and tags are included
  • Proof of purchase is provided

What's Not Eligible for Return

  • Hair thats been installed. 
  • Chemically processed hair and hair showing care-related issues cannot be returned, as these conditions prevent us from assessing the hair's original quality.

Chemically Processed Hair

Extensions that have been toned, dyed, bleached, permed, relaxed, or otherwise chemically treated cannot be returned or exchanged. Chemical processing permanently alters the hair's structure and cuticle integrity. 

Planning to color your extensions? We highly recommend doing a strand test first. All hair reacts differently to color, and a small test section helps ensure you get the results you want before committing to the full set.

Maintenance-Related Issues

Extensions showing signs of improper care - including tangling, matting, excessive dryness, or heat damage - are not eligible for return. These issues result from care practices rather than product defects.

Common care mistakes that cause these issues:

  • Infrequent brushing (always brush daily, starting from the ends)
  • Sleeping without braiding or protecting the hair
  • Using products containing sulfates or heavy silicones
  • Skipping detangling before washing
  • Heat styling without a protectant
  • Swimming without rinsing immediately after

How to tell the difference: Product defects are apparent immediately out of the package. Care-related issues develop gradually with wear. If you're experiencing problems, contact us - we can often help resolve the issue with care adjustments.

1.Customer Responsibilities

1.1 Product Inspection:

Upon receiving your order, please inspect the product immediately. Refer to our Hair Care Guide before using, altering, or installing the hair.

1.2 Condition Requirements:

Products may be co-washed, shampooed, conditioned, and heat-styled only while the original security ties on the bundles remain intact. Any use, removal of ties, installation, cutting, coloring, bleaching, chemical treatment, or alteration will render the item ineligible for return or exchange.

1.3 Hair Appointment Advisory:

Do not schedule installation appointments until you have received, inspected, washed if required, and approved the product’s condition. BigLove Indian Hair® is not responsible for salon appointment charges, installation fees, cancellation fees, or any third-party service costs.

  1. 30-Day Return & Exchange Policy

2.1 Eligibility Conditions:

You may return or exchange products within 30 days of delivery if all of the following conditions apply:

The item is unused, unaltered, and in original condition with security ties intact.

The product has not been cut, colored, bleached, installed, chemically treated, or modified in any way.

The original packaging is included.

The return or exchange request is made within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Requests made after 30 days from the date of delivery will not be accepted.

  1. Product Use, Alteration & Defect Claim Conditions

3.1 Altered Products:

We do not accept returns or exchanges for used, installed, or altered products. This includes:

Hair that has been cut, dyed, bleached, chemically treated, or installed.

Hair bundles where the zip ties or security ties are no longer intact.

Damage caused by installation, styling, maintenance, coloring, bleaching, heat styling, or aftercare errors.

Any modification that changes the product from its original condition.

3.2 Defect Claims:

Defect claims will only be accepted while the product is unused, unaltered, uninstalled, and still in its original security ties. Claims made after installation, coloring, bleaching, cutting, chemical treatment, or removal of security ties will not be considered valid.

  1. Product Condition & Refund Eligibility

4.1 Non-Refundable Items:

Any merchandise returned without the original security ties or not in its original condition will be sent back to the customer without a refund.

4.2 Inspection Upon Return:

All returned products will be inspected by BigLove Indian Hair® after they are received at our factory in India. Refunds, exchanges, defective-product approvals, restocking fees, and shipping deductions will be determined only after inspection.

4.3 Non-Defective Returns:

If a product is returned and no defect is found, the return will be treated as a non-defective return. In such cases, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from refunds issued to the original payment method. 

The 15% restocking fee does not apply if the customer chooses an exchange or store credit instead of a refund.

  1. Shipping, Transaction Fees & Return Shipping Costs

5.1 Non-Refundable Charges:

Original shipping charges and payment processor fees, including PayPal, bank, or payment gateway charges, are non-refundable.

Refunds apply only to the product value, minus applicable deductions, fees, and charges.

If the product was shipped under a paid shipping order, the original shipping cost from BigLove Indian Hair® to the customer will not be refunded, unless the product is defective.

If the product was shipped under a free shipping offer and is returned for any reason other than a confirmed defect, USD 45 will be deducted from any refund issued to the original payment method to cover the original shipping cost, unless the product is defective.

5.2 Return Shipping Costs for Defective Products:

If the product is confirmed to be defective by BigLove Indian Hair®, BigLove Indian Hair® will pay the return shipping cost to our factory in India.

This applies only when the product is unused, unaltered, uninstalled, still in its original security ties, and the defect claim is approved by BigLove Indian Hair®.

5.3 Return Shipping Costs for Non-Defective Products:

If the product is not defective and is being returned for any reason other than a confirmed defect, BigLove Indian Hair® will not pay the return shipping cost to our factory in India.

In such cases, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, customs documentation, duties, taxes, and any related charges required to return the product to India.

BigLove Indian Hair® will also not refund the original shipping cost from BigLove Indian Hair® to the customer.

If the order was shipped for free, USD 45 will be deducted from any refund issued to the original payment method.

A 15% restocking fee will also apply to non-defective returns refunded to the original payment method.

The 15% restocking fee does not apply to exchanges or store credit.

5.4 Return Labels:

BigLove Indian Hair® does not provide return labels for non-defective returns.

All returns must be shipped back to our shipping origin in Chennai, India, using a trackable shipping method.

Additional charges resulting from incorrect addresses, failed deliveries, customs issues, refusal of delivery, or return-to-sender shipments are the customer’s responsibility.

  1. Product Variations 

BigLove Indian Hair® products are made from natural, unprocessed human hair. As such, slight differences in color, texture, and thickness are expected and are not considered defects.

Hair may be slightly lighter or darker than expected.

Texture may vary naturally between straight, wavy, curly, and irregular natural patterns.

Straight hair may feature a slight wave or natural variation in strand thickness.

Wavy or curly hair may vary from bundle to bundle because the hair is raw and not steam processed.

Natural taper, natural color variation, and natural texture variation are normal characteristics of authentic raw Indian hair.

These natural characteristics are not considered defects and are not eligible for defective-product returns, defective-product shipping reimbursement, or exchanges on the basis of defect.

  1. Return & Exchange Process

To request a return or exchange:

7.2 Ship the Product:

Once approved, return the product using a trackable shipping method. Tracking details must be shared with us after shipment.

7.3 Refunds & Exchanges:

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Refunds will exclude original shipping charges, transaction fees, payment gateway fees, applicable shipping deductions, customs charges, and any applicable restocking fee.

If a product is confirmed to be defective, BigLove Indian Hair® will pay the return shipping cost to our factory in India, subject to the product meeting the eligibility conditions in this policy.

If a product is returned and no defect is found, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from refunds issued to the original payment method, return shipping will not be reimbursed, and the original shipping cost will not be refunded.

The 15% restocking fee does not apply to exchanges or store credit.

  1. Special Conditions

Products purchased during sales, promotions, clearance offers, or at discounted rates are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange unless confirmed defective by BigLove Indian Hair®.

Custom orders are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless confirmed defective by BigLove Indian Hair®.

Free shipping is valid only during promotional events or when specifically offered at checkout.

International customers, including customers outside India, are responsible for customs duties, taxes, import charges, return documentation, and any required shipping documentation. These charges are non-refundablez
